The front end is from the 1960's. While appearing stock, everything is CNC'ed and show quality chrome plates. The front block off plates now function as cold air intake ports.
There are countless subtle modifications and redesigned elements, such as these badges which we evolved with ICON branding, and to reflect the current HEMI engine displacement.
Remember the original Indian Chief badges on the rear quarter panels? The Cherokee tribe never wore turkey feather headdresses, so those had to go. We designed these with the honest Cherokee eagle feather detail around the perimeter, and a mountain-scape inspired version of our lizard.
Gauges are based on the originals, but no longer plastic. Laser etched inserts continue the "Safe Flight" eagle feather design, while all functions are electronically controlled and displayed in an analog form.
The abstract eagle feather design is commonly found on Cherokee clay work, and woven goods. Here you see how we hand painted it down the belt line, with a slow inversion to pure black at the front, to balance out the black roof.
The stock fuel filler was ugly, and does not work well with modern gas stations. We fixed that. Now the taillight articulates with gas shock assistance.
