The Hudson Pick Up is a rare bird, and one of the most beautiful streamline pick ups of the era. Full of Moderne and Deco design details, the Hudson Big Boy was designed as the first "luxury" American pick up, because Hudson knew they could not complete on price point with the likes of Ford and Chevy. So, they decided to go up market, and based their pick up design on one of their more luxurious sedans. These trucks feature a cabin with way better ergonomics and more room than any other pick up of the 1940's and 1950's. These are quite difficult to find in proper condition. We were thrilled to find this one, SoCal since new, three owners. The guy we got it from had owned it since 1976. The paint was done in 1980, and has a nice subtle patina. You could choose to have this truck restored in the ICON Derelict style, or as new in our ICON Reformer style. This could be electric, gas powered, 2WD or 4WD. What do you envision?
