Before final assembly, the underside and floor surfaces of the body parts are coated in heat cured polyurea. This layer protects the body from the environment, and reduces noise levels. Dynamat sound deadener products are then also used on the interior panel surfaces for more noise and insulation control.
No plastic here, all details are crafted in top quality materials. CNC'ed and enameled dash knobs, CNC'ed aluminum gauge pod and glovebox, laser cut stainless trim, aircraft grade LED lighting and A/C vents...
Door panels replace plastic with laser cut ribbed stainless and powder coated aluminum, all attached with aircraft grade stainless hardware. The small cup behind the paddle handle is also upgraded from plastic to CNC'ed aluminum. Finally, the arm rest is hand stitched and wrapped.
Cargo panels have been crafted to add finish quality and insulation where the original had neither. Integrated LED interior lights, speakers and power ports add more utility value as well.
The ICON grill is CNC'ed from a 96 pound chunk of billet aluminum, down to 26 pounds, then anodize finished with a unique surface texture. Grill letters are enameled stainless steel.
Seats are comfortable buckets, with floor track and recline adjustments, upholstered in Mercedes marine rated German vinyl. Optional (and very popular) Chilewich designer weave option adds utility and design detail with breathable inserts in seats and removable, rubber backed, floor mats.
The ICON BR Rear Bumper is made in California. Features greasable swing-out tire carrier. Locking storage compartments, CNC'ed latch, 2" receiver and more. Black powder coated finish.
